His most recent gig at Vicar street, a fundraiser for the housing charity, Focus Ireland, took place earlier this month. Moore has been an outspoken advocate for addressing the housing crisis in Ireland, and a vocal supporter of the "Everyone Should Have a Home" campaign on Twitter.
The singer has been a prominent feature in the Irish folk scene for decades, releasing 30 solo albums over the course of his career since 1969.
