Christy Moore has announced three dates in The National Concert Hall for April 27, My 3 and May 17.
The string of gigs celebrates the release of his new album A Terrible Beauty, which includes the singles ‘Boy in the Wild’ and ‘Black & Amber’, the latter of which was written by Brian Brannigan of A Lazarus Soul, who also wrote album track ‘Lemon Sevens’.
The record landed Moore his first no. 1 album in seven years following 2017’s On The Road. and was rated a 9/10 by Hot Press, writing: “Christy Moore is back, velvet voice to the fore, with a record that powerfully – and movingly – reflects on the pervasive darkness of our times.”
