The series of three intimate live gigs are set to take place next May...
Iconic Irish folk singer-songwriter Christy Moore has announced three upcoming performances in the National Concert Hall next Spring.
Renowned for his distinctive writing, incisive lyrics, and renditions of traditional ballads, Moore remains one of the most compelling and instrumental of Irish folk artists.
Shining a light on the Irish oral songwriting tradition, Irish politics and national identity, the 78 year-old singer-songwriter brought Irish music into the cultural mainstream; receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award at the RTÉ Folk Awards in 2021.
His lengthy recording career includes more than 40 albums; from Paddy on the Road (1969) to Flying Into Mystery (2021) and his chart-topping The Early Years, covering his recordings and television appearances from 1969-1981.
