Two UK music giants of the present and past are teaming up.
Scottish indie band Chvrches have teased a collaboration with the legendary vocalist of The Cure Robert Smith today.
They tweeted a code alongside a green picture of a ghostly figure with seemingly random letters over it.

The caption "BGU=CHV" is a code that when cracked reveals a message "How Not To Drown Coming Wednesday June Second", referring to a new single due to be released this week.

Smith followed up with photos keeping with the theme, featuring the same woman as in the Chvrches photos.

This song would be a follow-up to 'He Said She Said', Chvrches' first single in over two years.
The Cure recently auctioned a signed amp back in February for charity. It was signed by all members of the 80s goth band.
Robert Smith also played new versions of songs off of their 1981 album Faith back in December. It was part of a live stream for the charity Poverty Alleviation Charities’ Letters To Santa initiative, which fulfils the wishes of families in need with food, clothes, computers and money.
He also featured on Gorillaz' song 'Strange Timez' on their most recent album Song Machine, Season 1: Strange Timez.
