The charming new track was first introduced during Ducrot’s New Year’s Eve show at Dublin Castle, which was broadcast across the country.
Cork singer-songwriter Cian Ducrot has shared the captivating music video for his latest release ‘Who’s Making You Feel It’, an invigorating track reminiscent of early Elton John, with a bright piano melody and playful lyricism. The release of ‘Who’s Making You Feel It’ follows the success of the artist’s debut album Victory, as well as Ducrot’s first Grammy nomination as the co-writer of SZA’s hit ‘Saturn’.
The music video shows Cian’s most ambitious visual to date. Embracing choreography and movement reminiscent of classic Hollywood, the video was filmed in Hungary. Directed by Jasmine De Silva and produced by Rhory Danniells, the music video captures the uplifting charm of ‘Who’s Making You Feel It’.
On the track, Cian says, “The song is basically one big “Tell me, is this new guy better than me?” It’s about how we all find ourselves stalking our exes even if we say we don’t. And when you inevitably notice them moving on with other people all of a sudden that feeling of jealousy and curiosity pops up and you just need to know “Who is it?”, “Who’s making you feel better than I did?” and “I notice it looks like your life is amazing and you’re really making the most of it all but also DO YOU MISS MEEEE?!”
“The song is also a bit sarcastic in a way of asking this person if they have gotten everything they dreamed of after leaving you and that you “hope” they did.”
