To cap off the Bank Holiday weekend, we're thrilled to announce Clare Sands as our latest act on the Hot Press Lockdown Sessions – streaming live at 7.30pm tonight, May 4, on the Hot Press Instagram.

A unique force in Irish music, Clare Sands has built up an enviable reputation as an award-winning  musician and composer. The Cork-based artist became a sixth generation fiddler at the age of four, and has since crafted a sound that pulls from blues, jazz, folk and trad.

Following the release of her acclaimed debut album, Join Me At The Table, in 2016, as well as her five-track The Basement Sessions EP in 2019, Clare shared her latest single, 'Let The Sun Shine' last summer.

Throughout the Lockdown Sessions, our star-studded line-up will be taking over the Hot Press Instagram account (@hotpressmagazine), and live-streaming performances from their homes around the world directly to your phone.
