In partnership with host venue Raheen House Hotel over July 22nd and 23rd, When Next We Meet festival will see another great weekend of music, food and DJ’s come to Clonmel, Tipperary.

Lisa Hannigan, Talos, Daithí, and Niamh Regan lead the weekend’s line-up, along with Tipperary’s Kyoto Love Hotel and Smythy opening on the Walled Garden Stage.

The grounds of Raheen House Hotel are expected to burst into life again this July from entrancing folk, to magnetic electronica. Also supporting emerging local artists and DJ’s, a second Local Artists Stage will give a platform to the area’s rising talent.

More than simply a gig in a garden, When Next We Meet will bring everything from food vendors, bars, lighting, seating, and outdoor amenities to create an unsuspecting, charming festival. With artists and audiences intertwined, the hidden walled garden and stunning surrounding grounds will lend themselves to an incredible atmosphere over two nights.

The festival’s organiser Kate Twohig discusses the upcoming festival, “The location is what sets us apart. Raheen House’s grounds have proven to be pure magic. It’s an oasis away from the outside world, while being practically in the town centre.”

“Everyone that steps through the gates are taken aback by how expansive the grounds behind the house are. We bring in staging, lighting, food vendors, bars, seating, posh portaloos… everything you can expect from a festival, with an added touch.”

“The audience is great. Music sounds amazing in the walled garden and the surrounding areas are the perfect setting for everything else! It’s just a brilliant atmosphere amongst brilliant people!” she adds.

Over the course of two summer nights, local, emerging artists and established Irish musicians alike will share in the same experience- an opportunity to develop the nature of their craft and network.

This year’s line-up announcement is being celebrated with a launch party in Gleeson’s Pub, Clonmel, on May 12th, from 8pm until late, with an array of local artists, DJ’s and prizes expected.

The festival’s gates will open from 4pm to 1am over the two days in July.
