Following the release of her acclaimed debut album, If My Wife New I'd Be Dead, on Friday, CMAT has announced a string of Irish and UK dates – including a hometown headline show at 3Olympia Theatre in Dublin on Friday, December 9.
Other newly announced Irish dates include The Limelight, Belfast (December 7) and Live at St Luke's, Cork (December 10).
The news arrives in the midst of a busy few days for the recent Hot Press cover star. In addition to her album launch livestream last night, she's set to play Connolly's of Leap in Co. Cork on Tuesday (March 8), Cyprus Avenue in Cork on Wednesday, Dolan's Warehouse in Limerick on Thursday, The Academy in Dublin on Friday and The Limelight in Belfast on Saturday. She'll also play special in-store shows this week in Golden Discs, Cork (on Wednesday) and Steamboat in Limerick (on Thursday). From there, she heads off on a string of live dates in the US, including an appearance at SXSW.
CMAT's debut album was described by Hot Press as "one of the most thrilling Irish pop debuts of the century." Read the full review here.
