"Lots of other stuff coming too..." the singer revealed on social media
Dublin singer CMAT– also known as Ciara Mary-Alice Thompson– just announced her newest track 'Whatever’s Inconvenient,' set for release on Wednesday, April 19th.
This will be the Irish star's second single released this year, following January's 'Mayday,' which the artist described as "a very sexy song about climate change."
To announce the forthcoming song, CMAT posted an image of herself donning a checker-print body suit with red and orange feather-detailing to her Instagram account.
"breakups are ripping the fabric of time and space," she wrote in the caption, likely alluding to the content of the forthcoming track. "u guys are in a crisis, cmat2 is on the way..."
The artist also informed her following that she had "lots of other stuff coming too."

Fans speculate that the singer will soon be announcing her highly anticipated sophomore record, the follow up to 2022's debut If My Wife New I’d Be Dead, which Hot Press' Lucy O'Toole called "one of the most thrilling Irish pop debuts of the century."
If My Wife New I’d Be Dead received universal praise upon release, debuting at number one on the Irish charts. Last month, the record won the RTÉ Choice Music Prize for Irish Album of the Year.
Delighted to announce that the winner of the RTÉ Choice Music Prize Album of the Year is the wonderful If My Wife New I’d Be Dead by @cmatbaby.
