Coachella line-up announced
Beyonce, Eminem, The Weeknd and dozens more have been announced for the 2018 Californian music festival.
The Californian festival, which takes place over two weekends in April, traditionally kicks off the summer festival season.
For the 2018 event, Beyoncé will headline on April 14 and 21. These will be her first live shows since her Formation world tour in 2016. The R&B star took 2017 off from live performance after giving birth to her twins Rumi and Sir. The announcement will no doubt fuel rumours that she's gearing up to release new material.
The second headliner will be Eminem, who has just released his comeback album Revival, which reached No 1 in the US and UK, and No. 3 in the Irish album charts.
The Weeknd will be the third headliner, following the success of his 2016 album Starboy.
Chart-dominating rappers such as Cardi B, Migos and Post Malone will also appear at the festival, as will bands like Portugal. The Man, Haim and the War on Drugs, and electronic acts including Odesza, Kygo and Jamiroquai. There will also be several classic artists on the line-up, in the form of David Byrne, Chic and Jean-Michel Jarre.
