Colin Greenwood, Radiohead bassist, has revealed plans to publish a photography book about the band
How to Disappear: A Portrait of Radiohead is the book set to release on October 15, giving a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the group's activities between 2003 to 2016.
Designed by Duncan White and published by the Hachette UK division John Murray Press, it captures recording sessions, live performances, and moments of collaboration among band members. Greenwood describes the selected photographs as "fugitive snaps" taken for two decades.

“For years now, I’ve been taking fugitive snaps of my band, Radiohead,” the bassist said in a press release. “I’ve tried to catch out my friends with my small black Yashica T4 Super. On stage and in the rehearsal studio, they are so lost in their own moment of performance that they don’t see me with the camera.” He added that he was “taken with photographs as evidence, forensic records of how we worked and changed a space, from barn to country house to empty arena.”

How to Disappear will also feature essays written by Greenwood himself, offering a look into the band's evolution and dynamics during what he refers to as their "middle years." These essays will combine into a story that gives readers a deeper understanding of Radiohead as a band in this period.
The deluxe edition of the book offers enthusiasts a signed copy with an additional 32-page book of "light show" photographs.
Greenwood's announcement comes at a time when Radiohead members have been exploring various solo and side projects, with Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood forming the band The Smile, while Philip Selway and Ed O'Brien focus on their own musical endeavours.
