Irish group Columbia Mills will be performing at Dublin's The Sound House on Friday, May 31st.
Named after a building on Dublin's Quays that became a hub of underground raves in the 90s, Columbia Mills found inspiration in the rave scene's commitment to inclusion and equality. The Dublin and Wicklow based group combine guitar driven jams with electronics for a unique sound that has been described as dark, ambient and emotive. Pulling from their diverse range of musical inspirations, they released two acclaimed EP's before dropping their debut album A Safe Distance to Watch this past November, produced by Rob Kirwan, who has worked with artists including Hozier, Depeche Mode and U2.
They will be performing at The Sound House on Friday, May 31st. Tickets are €17.50 and go on sale Tuesday March 12th at 10am from Ticketmaster.
