Such a lowering of expectations, however, might well prove to be in their favour as ‘Coming Home’ reveals itself to be quite a decent little song. Joe Barresi’s remix tones replaces the overwhelming feeling of lyrical angst with something much more radio friendly, although the cello riff that runs through the song gives it a dash of individuality. The moment to rekindle a dying love affair? Quite possibly.
