The event is returning for its second year in the Burren, Co. Clare.
Common Threads, a self-described voyage of music and art, have announced that this year's events taking place October 11 and 12 will feature performances from many Irish musicians and artists.
Included in the lineup is singer and multi-instrumentalist John Francis Flynn, singer-songwriter Sorcha Richardson, electronic duo HousePlants, Ailbhe Reddy, Uly, Negro Impacto, Royal Yellow, Mynameisjohn, Eugene Lambe, Sally Cinnamon b2b Jimmy Rouge, Fleeting Devotion, Piqué, Common Threads DJs, and more to be announced.
Now in its second year, Common Threads is curated and programmed by Peter Kelly and Daithí O Dronaí.
With over a decade of experience in Ireland's music and arts scene, the duo said that they “aim to break the mold on what a traditional music festival/event looks like, and explore the common links/threads between a vibrant local community, key cultural spaces and an important natural landscape, while embellishing all of these common threads with art, live music and discovery.”
Taking place in the Burren, Co. Clare, Common Threads will provide the opportunity for attendees to experience the best of what the area has to offer, travelling by bus between performances at key local locations and pit stops at points of natural scenic beauty.

The Burren is known for its rugged landscapes, diverse flora and fauna, and rich cultural heritage. The area is also home to a thriving community of artists, musicians, and craftspeople, and has a long history of cultural and artistic expression.
O Dronaí said: “It’s amazing to be back for our second year. We’ve built a beautiful community around Common Threads, and it’s lovely to be part of something new and exciting. We’re stepping up this year as well, with a bigger production and a second day. The line up is really special, with some of the best artists in the country.”
Kelly added that even getting to run the event once “was a dream come true.”
“Having the opportunity to return to The Burren for a second year is just incredible. We have some special surprises and tweaked some aspects around for a better experience while maintaining the special energy from last year,” he said.
Common Threads is aiming to minimise its environmental impact by collaborating with local suppliers and vendors to source eco-friendly products and materials.
The event will highlight local food and drink producers and encourage attendees to reduce their environmental footprint through initiatives like a litter-free policy and waste reduction measures.
