Yowsa. Clarke’s savage ‘Compass’ finally gets a full-release around a year after it appeared in a limited edition on Gigolos. The original combines old-school beats with mental disko-isms to stunning effect. Terence Fixmer draws it closer to techno oblivion with his searing, FX-laden remix while Josh Wink irons it our for the floor with two remixes: one a tougher take on the original, the other quite similar with a laughably good acid/breakbeat breakdown.
