Prolific Irish songwriter Conor Furlong is set to drop 2019-2023, out February 23. The 22-track compilation takes songs from the five albums he released in that timeframe.
The project will be preceded by a re-release of two songs on February 16 - ‘Teenage Fantasises’, from 2021’s Recurring Dream, and ‘Alien’, taken off his debut LP Rapid Eye Movement.
With the exception of the harmonica solo on the final track, which was played by John M Ferguson, 2019-2023 is entirely written, recorded and produced by Furlong.
A veteran purveyor of genre-fusing dreampop who's been steadily release music since 2005, Furlong cites influenclike R.E.M, Nirvana, Arcade Fire, David Bowie and Phil Spector amongst his influences.
