We're thrilled to announce Conor Scott as our latest act on the Hot Press Lockdown Sessions – performing live on the Hot Press Instagram tonight, June 10, at 7.30pm.

Initially gaining attention as a contestant on The Voice UK, in recent years the hotly tipped Belfast singer-songwriter has carved out a space as one of the most compelling acts in the country.

Last month, Scott premiered his lockdown-inspired, collaborative video for his new single 'Overthinking' on Hot Press.

“The narrative of the song is essentially about that time in a relationship when things aren't necessarily at their best," Conor said of the release ."It's not a break-up song though. It's more about just accepting the emotions that you are going through, saying your thoughts out loud and then seeing where your head is at. It is melancholic positivity.”

Throughout the Lockdown Sessions, our line-up will be taking over the Hot Press Instagram account (@hotpressmagazine), and live-streaming performances from their homes around the world directly to your phone.
