Rock Against Homelessness in aid of Focus Ireland will return for its ninth edition on 26th May in Dublin's 3Olympia, with Grammy Award-winner Corinne Bailey Rae set to to headline.
The gig will also feature a dazzling roster of talent including Toshín, Aimée, The White Horse Guitar Club and Isaac Butler. Laura Whitmore will reprise her role as festival MC.
Corinne Bailey Rae will headline the festival following a hugely successful and widely-acclaimed album Black Rainbows, released in September 2023. The album, inspired by her visits to the Stony Island Arts Bank in Chicago, comprises 10 tracks that showcase Bailey Rae's prowess as both a songwriter and vocalist. Many critics have called it a career highlight for the English singer-songwriter, whose previous fame includes her 2006 hit 'Put Your Records On.' In October 2023, the singer promoted her album Black Rainbows with a stellar performance at Cork Jazz Festival.

"I am proud to be headlining Rock Against Homelessness 2024 to help support Focus Ireland's work challenging homelessness and changing lives," says the artist.
Other standout acts include rising Irish pop star Aimée, the vibrant 6-piece R&B-soul outfit Toshín, headed by Tosin Bankole, the Americana-meets-Irish-roots White Horse Horse Guitar Club and Dublin singer-songwriter Isaac Butler.
With seven years under its belt, Rock Against Homelessness has seen a slew of household names headline, including Glen Hansard and The Boomtown Rats in 2017, Imelda May and Dermot Kennedy in 2018, Fontaines DC in 2020, Pillow Queens and Aslan in 2021, and Kojaque and Damien Dempsey in 2022.
The festival is aimed at providing assistance and funding to combat the homelessness crisis in Ireland. As such, Rock Against Homelessness will raise vital funds to support Focus Ireland.
“Sadly the homelessness crisis has deepened again as 13,318 people are now homeless and shockingly this includes nearly 4,000 children. The number of people homeless has shot up 14% in the last year," says Focus Ireland CEO Pat Dennigan."However, the situation would be a lot worse again without the hard work of Focus Ireland and other organisations. Rock Against Homelessness helps us to achieve our goals and for this we are grateful.”
