Lenii’s razor-sharp wit and potent production are out in full force.
Known for her darkly comedic, tongue-in-cheek lyrical lacerations and slick alt-pop production, Lenii is back with a new EP.
Zero Sympathy, released today, follows 2020's debut In All Fairness..., which charted and earned the Cork-born, LA-based talent a major fanbase.
Opening track and new single ‘Good Life’ kicks into gear with a jolting synth pop groove underpinning Lenii’s rapid flow.
‘Already Famous’ combines ingeniously chopped-up vocal samples along with Lenii’s own shapeshifting delivery for a hooky delight. ‘Take The Money’ sees Lenii wrestling with ego and success over frenzied beats and seductive guitars. The irresistible ‘Cherry Gum’ exhibits Lenii’s enchanting energy, as she moulds sugary sonics into something more twisted, while the moody verses on ‘Killin’ It’ shine a light on Lenii’s dark undertones.

Finally, ‘Crybaby’ brings the genre-hopping EP to a close with a tender ballad over fingerpicked guitar. The integral message of Zero Sympathy is rooted in the importance of breaking norms, whilst faced with the restrictions of a toxic and success-driven society.
Speaking her truth and displaying inspiring honesty in her lyrics, Lenii isn’t one to hold back. On the day of watching the first Biden vs Trump presidential debate, Lenii, wrote/produced 'The Kids Are All Rebels' and uploaded on TikTok. A commentary on the state of today's world, it immediately went viral and properly introduced Lenii to the world.
'The Kids Are All Rebels' was later used by the Democratic election campaign and will be the lead track of the new Netflix focus series Lockwood & Co in 2023.
Lenii has also produced for countless A-list performers including David Guetta, Pink Sweat$, Suki Waterhouse, Au/Ra, GRACEY, Pixie Lott, Loud Luxury and loads more.
