Marking O'Sullivan's first single of 2021, 'Not To Your Taste' is Disclosure-esque glittery electronic music at its finest.
Music producer, engineer and vocalist Blakkheart (real name Eimear O'Sullivan) has shared her brand new single, 'Not To Your Taste', inspired by the sound of Prince and Kylie Minogue.
Luxuriously dreamy and brimming with captivating synths, the track was composed on a Roland Juno DI hardware synthesizer in Blakkheart’s home studio.
O'Sullivans commanding 2020 singles include 'The Thing Beyond The Pines', 'Honey Boy', 'No More Room', 'So In Love (With Yourself)', following on from 2019's 'Crush' and 'One Hot Afternoon in Texas'.
Her 2018 debut track alongside Darce, titled 'Moonlight', turned the focus on Blakkheart - with 'Not To Your Taste' showcasing the progress made in just three short years.
“Gave my life to you/ Pipe dreams can be cruel/ Was it hard to watch/ As I lost and lost,” Blakkheart references the dreams envisioned inside your head and the realisation that they might never materialise.
Everything you see and hear from the artist is done in its entirety by her (right down to the artwork) from her plant emporium home studio.

After touring as a session musician and vocalist, performing at Electric Picnic, Indiependence, and opening for Sean Kingston, Hypnotic Brass Ensemble and Le Boom with Darce, Blakkhart began to hone her production skills.
Recent projects include composing the theme song for the Friends of Dorothy podcast, whose guests include Rose McGowan, Rebecca Black, Peaches and The Veronicas.
