The Cork festival takes place from November 21 to 24.
Cork’s Quiet Lights festival has announced the programme of its 2024 edition, set to take place in venues across the city from November 21 to 24.
Aiming to shine a light on the new wave of Irish and International folk, traditional, and experimental talent, this year’s festival includes a large-scale double-header from Elaine Howley and Rachael Lavelle, presented with festival partners Live at St. Luke’s.
It will also welcome up-and-coming folk artists Joshua Burnside and Memorial, as well as a new duo performance from Aoife Ní Bhríain (fiddle) and Cormac McCarthy (piano) in Triskel Arts Centre.
Kurdish/Syrian musician Mohammad Syfkhan will open the festival in Coughlan’s on the Thursday night, while concertina player Cormac Begley will headline St Lukes on Sunday.
