All around the country this Saturday, there will be live events and great deals to be had.
As you will be more than aware by now, tomorrow (April 18) marks this year's Record Store Day, a celebration of getting physical, music-wise.
As previously reported, there's plenty happening in Dublin but it's not just the capital that will be involved. Here's the lowdown:
Cork
plugd and Gulpd celebrate turning 4 together with free music events in the shop and cafe. Tomorrow you can catch Stevie G & friends playing from 11am to 7pm, Hags (7pm), Laurie Shaw (7.45pm), Somerville (9pm), Sunken Foal (10pm). Rory Francis O'Brien and Laura Hyland are among the acts on Sunday, plus expect playing of DJ actions in-store and cafe over the weekend.
Musiczone, Douglas Court Shopping Centre – A flu day of live music, with the store opening at 9am and offering plenty of rarities and competitions. Set to play:

2pm: John Spillane
3pm: Raising Jupiter
4pm: Fox Jaw
5pm: The Hard Ground
Galway
Galway Arts Centre – Dott play a release gig (for their 12" split with Night School). Also on the bill? Oh Boland, Zinc, Boyfights, Tracy Bruen Music, Mollusk. Tickets are €7 and it's BYOB.
Kerry
Dingle Record Shop – offering 20% off everything.
Kilkenny
Rollercoaster Records – 100 'Rollercoaster Songs Of The Day' CDs up for grabs on a first-come, first-served basis, plus plenty of well-curated tunes playing throughout the day.
