The 73-year-old singer was discharged from hospital in London yesterday.
Three weeks after being brought to hospital with coronavirus symptoms, Marianne Faithfull has returned home.
In a statement shared to the legendary singer's social media yesterday, April 22, it was revealed that she "has been discharged from hospital today, 22 days after being admitted suffering from the symptoms of Covid-19. She will continue to recuperate in London."
"Marianne thanks you all for your kind messages of concern which have meant a great deal through what is such a difficult time for so many," the statement continued. "She is also very grateful to all the NHS staff who cared for her at the hospital and, without doubt, saved her life."

Faithfull released her latest album, Negative Capability, in 2018 – featuring longtime collaborators Nick Cave and Ed Harcourt. Hot Press's Pat Carty described it as a "heart-breaking and heartbroken record, and the best thing she's ever done."
Earlier this year it was revealed that a biopic about the iconic singer's life, titled Faithfull, was on the way, starring Lucy Boynton.
