Tributes have been pouring in for the late singer, who died suddenly last week
Danielle Moore, lead vocalist of UK dance group Crazy P, has died aged 52.
In a statement posted on social media on Tuesday, the band confirmed that Moore passed away on August 30 in “sudden and tragic circumstances”.
“We are devastated to announce the unbelievable and shocking news that our beautiful Danielle Moore has died,” they said. “This happened on Friday afternoon August 30th.”
“We cannot believe the news ourselves and we know it will be the same for all of you. She gave us so much and we love her so much. Our hearts are broken.”
Shocked to hear tragic news about the lovely & talented Danielle Moore @crazypmusic who supported @faithless on our tour back in the day & had pleasure of sharing the stage with so recently … they were going from strength to strength :( Just awful.

The house/disco group, originally known as Crazy Penis, were founded by Chris Todd and Jim Baron while at university in Nottingham in the ‘90s. Moore joined the outfit in 2002, alongside bassist Tim Davies and percussionist Mav Kendricks, releasing seven albums.
Tributes for the artist have been flooding in from across the music world, with Irish musician Róisín Murphy describing Moore as someone who “touched everybody she met with light and love.”
“One of the most beautiful souls has left us,” Murphy wrote on X. “The brilliant Danielle Moore of Crazy P has died suddenly and she has taken so much light with her. One of the best in music, an amazing person and an amazing singer, performer and songwriter.
“I know there will be a great sense of loss and mourning across our community.”
