The 19 year old singer-songwriter's new single is a vulnerable, yet upbeat ballad about hope and support.
Singer-songwriter Curtis Walsh returns with his newest single 'Midnight'. Having found major success at the age of 19, his voice is wise beyond his years as he croons over the emotional track. The piano-based ballad is upbeat yet reflective.
The track came together seamlessly, written in one evening on a Zoom call with co-writer St. Lundi and producer Braid Mair.
“Midnight was written about being there for a loved one in the dark times. Funny how it seems to be during the middle of the night when they feel most vulnerable and open to express what’s on their mind and how you intend to always be there for them during those rough nights," Walsh says.
Walsh's debut EP Breathe was released last year to massive success, having amassed a whopping 15 million streams across platforms. With a slew of singles having been released since then and 'Midnight' adding to his already impressive repertoire, it'll be exciting to see what he has in store next.
