The three songwriting buddies are making a very good habit of touring together. They play a special anniversary date in Connolly’s of Leap, in Co. Cork
Cynthia Catania, Annmarie Cullen and Naimee Coleman have been confirmed as support to Hothouse Flowers, on what promises to be a very special show at Connolly's of Leap, in Co. Cork.
The unique anniversary show–marking 10 years since the death of Connolly’s of Leap founder Paddy McNicholl – takes place on Saturday, March 28. The three singer-songwriters (Cynthia and Annmarie were in the acclaimed Saucy Monky together), will be in Ireland at the end of March and the beginning of April, taking their 3 Voices, 3 Sets show around Ireland.
“All the pieces have finally come together," Cynthia tells Hot Press. “I’m hoping that my unconventional set is as well received in Ireland as it has been in the States.
"I'm using triggers, loops, FX and samples to augment my songs and my singing! It’s minimalistic and tasteful–or so I’ve been told,” she laughs.
Cynthia recently released a new single, and a video for the song, 'Sidelines’. The track has been receiving considerable airplay, on RTÉ Radio One, Galway Bay FM, Dublin City FM, KCLR and Cork's 96FM.
