'The Nearer the Fountain, More Pure the Stream Flows' is inspired by the striking landscapes of Iceland.
'The Nearer the Fountain, More Pure the Stream Flows' is Damon Albarn's latest work, inspired by the striking landscapes of Iceland.
The solo artist and founding member of Blur, Gorillaz and The Good, The Bad & The Queen has announced the rescheduled dates of his European tour for Spring 2021
Albarn has been an avid admirer of Iceland's beauty for almost thirty years, and is now using the country's nature and landscapes as his muse.
The title of the work is based on a John Clare poem, entitled 'Love and Memory'.
The 52-year-old will perform the piece with an ensemble and specially commissioned vocals - it's sure to capture the imagination of listeners.
Albarn will play Dublin's National Concert Hall on April 5 and 6, 2021.
