The Donegal singer has featured at least one Top 40 album on the Official Albums Chart every year since 1991.
Daniel O'Donnell is celebrating his latest album becoming a top five chart hit in the UK, with two Irish songs featured on the project.
The Kincasslagh-born country music star's first Top 40 album entry was back in 1991 with The Very Best Of, and kicked off an astounding unbroken run for the prolific hitmaker.
Daniel's latest album 60 - named to celebrate his 60th birthday - sees him return to the studio with Nigel Wright. The legendary producer has co-produced the music for several of Andrew Lloyd Webber's musicals. Tracks include upbeat renditions of 'Let Your Love Flow', 'I’ll Never Find Another You', 'Happy To Be On An Island In The Sun' and ‘Something Stupid’ with his wife Majella.
'Rock ‘N’ Roll Kids' was written by Irishman Brendan Graham, and won Eurovision in 1994. Sung by Paul Harringtonn and Chartlie McGettigan, it was the first winning song ever to be performed without orchestral accompaniment. McGettigan's guitar and Harrington's piano were the only instruments needed.
'Walking The Streets In The Rain' was written by Teresa Conlon, George Prendergast and Jack Harrigan. Originally sung by Butch Moore, it was Ireland’s entry in Eurovision 1965. While the track came sixth in the competition, 'Walking The Streets In The Rain' was a No.1 hit in Ireland.

Daniel O'Donnell 60 has since shot into the UK Album Chart at No.4 behind Coldplay, The Beatles and Adele.
"I'm thrilled to be in the UK charts yet again after all these years recording," the singer commented in a statement. "I cannot thank the fans enough for their loyal support over the years who have put me there."
O'Donnell is currently on tour in the UK. He released the 15-track album on October 15th ahead of his milestone 60th birthday on December 12.
The first single to be released from the record 'Down at The Lah De Dah', which includes a tropical tongue-in-cheek video.
In 2021, Daniel broke his own world record by becoming the first recording artist to chart at least one new album each year in the Artist Albums Chart for 34 consecutive years.
His last release, Daniel, hit No.3 in the UK Charts last year, making it his highest ever Top 40 placing in Britain. O'Donnell will get back on the road in Ireland next year for his rescheduled Irish shows.
