The rapper's sophomore album is due for release later this month.
Mercury Prize-winning rapper Dave has announced the release of his second album, We're All Alone In This Together, on July 23.
The album's title is inspired by something composer Hans Zimmer said to the rapper over FaceTime. The two got to know each other while collaborating to on the music for the Planet Earth: A Celebration documentary on BBC. In an interview with GQ, Dave described the new album as "self aware. There's magic to it. Less concept, more canon. It's a whole journey."
The rapper also posted the album's artwork to his Instagram. In the same GQ interview, he describes the artwork as a "reinterpretation of Claude Monet", specifically, Monet's Impression, Soleil Levant or Impression, Sunrise.

Dave's 2019 debut album, Psychodrama, was a critically-acclaimed, hard-hitting, autobiographical work that earned the artist that year's Mercury Prize, beating out other musicians like The 1975, slowthai, black midi, Foals, and Little Simz.
