Collaborators on David Bowie’s Berlin Trilogy will reunite for the Back To Berlin Tour later this year
Carlos Alomar and George Murray, two of three musicians who worked with David Bowie on his Berlin Trilogy albums, will play at Vicar Street in Dublin on December 1.
Bowie’s Berlin Trilogy is a series of three albums he recorded and released from Berlin- Low, Heroes, and Lodger. Both Alomar and Murray collaborated closely with the legendary artist to produce the three records.
The third member of D.A.M, Dennis Davies, passed away in 2016 due to cancer. In his place, four additional artists will join Alomar and Murray on their tour as they aim to faithfully perform the three albums live.
“Where other bands have toured Bowie’s songs extensively since his passing, these songs haven’t been performed the way they were meant to be. Until now,” says Alomar. “The Spiders From Mars are well known, but the D.A.M. Trio remains rock and roll’s best-kept secret. It’s time to honour our legacy, including Dennis’s.”

Additions to the group include guitarist Kevin Armstrong, who played with Bowie during Live Aid, and New York-based vocalist Cunio. They will also be joined by drummer Tel Berman, Axel Tosca on keyboard and synth, and Lea Lorien as a backing vocalist.
