“Ladies and gentlemen, something is coming along… for you to see and hear,” Lynch said in the video posted on 25th May. “And it will be coming along on June 5.”
Right on time, Lynch has today announced an upcoming album which sees the Twin Peaks creator reunite with longtime musical collaborator Chrystabell.

Their album Cellophane Memories comes out 2nd August via Sacred Bones. Please see here for more information and to pre-save the album.
To accompany the announcement, the duo have released a video, directed by Lynch, for the single ‘Sublime Eternal Love,’ which you can watch below.
Lynch and Chrystabell have often collaborated together since she contributed to the soundtrack of his last feature-length film to date Inland Empire.
The filmmaker-cum-musician wrote and produced Chrystabell’s debut album, The Train, and they reunited in 2017 on her EP Somewhere in the Nowhere. Chrystabell also played the role of Agent Tammy Preston in Twin Peaks: The Return, the third season of the legendary series, which released the very same year.
Chrystabell remarked that the new album contains “many doors that are left open to wonder, wander and get turned around in,” noting that, “It's like mood music, not that it creates mood, but more that it reflects your own.”
