The French Canadian folk supergroup are set for a slew of gigs in Ireland this May.
De Temps Antan have captured the hearts of audiences across the globe with their stunning interpretations of folk melodies from Quebec. Comprised of Éric Beaudry, David Boulanger and Pierre-Luc Dupuis, who have all been members of highly influential group La Bottine Souriant, their rough-hewn sound mixes boundless energy with the unmistakeable joie de vivre of traditional Quebecois music. All celebrated musicians and performers, the virtuosic trio brings the best of French-Canadian folk music to new generations.
Upcoming sets in Ireland will include tunes from their latest album ‘Consolez-vous’ and time-honoured classics. As always, De Temps Antan's shows promise call-and-response vocals, catchy honkytonk tunes and plenty of laughter.
