Dea Matrona and Shaefri's performances for the 25th anniversary celebrations of the classic Oasis album are going live this weekend.
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Oasis' era-defining album (What's The Story) Morning Glory?, we're bringing you two more special performances this weekend – with Dea Matrona covering 'Roll With It' and Shaefri covering 'Wonderwall'.
Since its release through Creation Records on October 2, 1995, (What's The Story) Morning Glory? has come to be considered one of the seminal records of the '90s. As the UK's best-selling album of the decade, it spent 10 weeks at No.1 on the Albums Chart, and fought off stiff competition from Blur and Radiohead to take home the award for British Album of The Year at the 1996 BRITs.
As part of our 25th anniversary performance series, we'll be presenting covers of the songs from (What's The Story) Morning Glory? from nine rising stars, as well as a 60-strong school choir.
Hailing from Belfast, rock trio Dea Matrona have captured the hearts of audiences across Ireland and beyond with their hard-hitting sound and infectious enthusiasm. As well as finding viral success with their Fleetwood Mac covers, they've released a string of acclaimed original tracks – including their latest single, 'Make You My Star'.
