The release celebrates the 20th anniversary of his debut album, Since Kyabram.
Declan O'Rourke has announced the release of his next project Kyabram with Kisses XX, out April 12.
O’Rourke dropped his first album in 2004 titled Since Kyabram, and the record went double platinum. For Record Store Day, the artist is releasing a limited edition Smart Vinyl twist on the original album.
Side A includes O’Rourke’s favourites from the record, while Side B features guest artists and bonus materials. There will be two new recordings, highlighting Paul Weller on ‘Galileo’ and Imelda May on ‘Love is the Way.’
“Featuring contributions by some very dear friends and artists I greatly admire, along with behind-the-scenes glimpses of the original recording sessions, Kyabram with Kisses XX is a love-filled thank you and acknowledgement of the love and friendship of a particular few whose generosity helped to shape Since Kyabram and what it has become over the 20 years since its release,” said O’Rourke. “The kisses in the title double as a nod, in roman numerals, to the album’s significant anniversary.”
He will tour throughout Ireland beginning in October, in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Since Kyabram.
