Deerhunter announces performance in Dublin
The American band is coming to perform at Whelan’s
Indie-rock band Deerhunter will be giving an intimate performance at Whelan’s this coming November.
The band originating in Atlanta, Georgia USA, and have released eight studio albums and three EPs. Their newest album, Why Hasn’t Everything Already Disappeared? pushed the boundaries in terms of experimentation, with pop elements that veered liberally into psychedelia.
According to the band themselves, their album “forgets the questions and makes up unrelated answers. It gets up, walks around, it records itself in several strategic geographic points across North America. It comes home, restructures itself and goes back to bed to avoid the bad news.”
The band will be performing at Whelan’s on November 2, 2019. Tickets will go for €35.00 including booking fee. They will go on sale at 9AM this Friday.
