British rock band Def Leppard have announced a new online collection of the band’s artefacts, stories and rarities, curated by Joe Elliott, Rick Savage, Rick Allen, Phil Collen and Vivian Campbell.

The 'Def Leppard Vault' is set to gather the band’s history in a digital museum, including special installations covering the band’s origin, and tales from the years gone by.

The collection will launch on Wednesday, January 13th, 2021.

Fans can sign up at the Leppard Vault website, after which they will receive a special code to access the online museum upon its opening.

Joe Elliott spoke about the possibility of a new Def Leppard record last year, which would mark their first new studio album since 2015’s self-titled release.

Elliott didn't rule out the possibility of the band creating a new album during the various coronavirus lockdowns, saying that the group stay in touch and frequently explore new musical ideas.

The outfit are slated to tour US stadiums with Motley Crue, Poison and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts this summer, though guitarist Collen admitted last year that the chances of the rescheduled dates going ahead are "50/50" as a result of Covid-19.
