The British rock icons are nominees for the 2019 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
Ahead of their upcoming tour set to kick off in Dublin at the tail end of the year, Def Leppard have also announced a string of new upcoming releases, most notably a greatest hits collection entitled The Story So Far - The Best Of.
Set to hit physical and digital shelves on the 30th of November, the record will be available in several formats: a double CD set comprised of thirty-five tracks, a single CD with seventeen tracks, a double LP vinyl, and digitally. Fans can expect all of the classics, as well as three new songs on all four versions, including the official recording of the band’s recent cover of Depeche Mode's 'Personal Jesus', plus 'Rock On (Remix)' and the original holiday song 'We All Need Christmas'. The first pressing vinyl copies of the album will include an exclusive 7” single of both the former and the latter also.

Furthermore, on the same day Def Leppard will also be releasing Hysteria: The Singles, a special edition 10-disc vinyl box set featuring all of the 7” singles from their eponymous multi-platinum album Hysteria. Including all of the hits from the acclaimed record, the set will also contain two bonus singles that are exclusive to it.
It marks a busy end of 2018 for the band, who will be embarking on a relatively short but extensive tour of the UK and Ireland from the 1st to the 18th of December, where they'll start at Dublin's 3Arena and finish off at the newly-added extra date at the SSE Arena in Wembley.
