Thursday night's gig will raise funds for three Limerick-based charities
There's a stellar line-up of top Limerick talent heading to Dolan's Warehouse on Thursday, October 10, for the 2024 edition of Music For Mental Health.
Among the special guests you can look forward to on the night are Denise Chaila, Emma Langford, Pat Shortt, Raging Sons, Keith Walsh, Stray Saints and Joyce Zacks & Band.
Kicking off at 8pm, the gig – organised by Humanli and supported by Limerick City and County Council – is in aid of three Limerick-based charities: Limerick Suicide Watch, Children's Grief Centre, and Haven Hub.
On the night, a special live video will be recorded of Emma Langford leading a group of artists in a new version of 'Animal Instinct', from The Cranberries' 1999 album Bury the Hatchet.
The track and video will then be released early 2025, to support Haven Hub – an organisation that offers peer support and suicide prevention to the community.

“We created the event back in 2018 to support young artists, promote positive mental health and create awareness," explains Karl Daly, the organiser of Music For Mental Health, and the founder of Humanli. "Limerick has huge musical talent and we encourage support for the event from the public and the business community.”
This will be the sixth edition of Music for Mental Health. Across its previous five events, Humanli has raised nearly €100,000 for Limerick-based charities.
“Our first gig had Noel Hogan on stage and in a bizarre twist that weekend Dolores passed away in London, so we have been keeping the event going ever since," Karl Daly resumes. "It was initially planned as a one-off.
“The show is being recorded in full on the night, so we are welcoming the Limerick public to join us," he adds. "This will be a special and unique experience for everyone that comes along.”
Tickets for the gig are €15, and are available here.
