Taking place on Saturday, June 12th, 2021; the gig is added to a slew of sold-out shows at Malahide Castle, Irish Independent Park in Cork and Gleneagle INEC Arena in Killarney.
After taking the No.1 slot in both the Official Irish Singles & Album charts, with ‘Giants’ and Without Fear, Dermot Kennedy will officially perform an additional date at St Anne's Park in Dublin next June.
He’s the first Irish act to hold the No. 1 position on both the Official Irish Singles and Albums Chart in the same week since The Script in 2010 with ‘For The First Time’ and Science & Faith.
Kennedy has also replaced himself at No.1 in the Official Irish Singles Chart with ‘Giants’ overtaking ‘Paradise’, his single with electronic dance act MEDUZA.
This makes him only the fifth act ever to replace themselves at No. 1 – following Pharrell (2013), Justin Bieber (2015), Ed Sheeran (2017) and Ariana Grande (2019).
Since the release of his stunning 2017 EP ‘Doves and Ravens’, Dermot Kennedy's globetrotting career has gone from strength to strength.

He reached the #1 spot in the UK and Irish Official Album Charts with debut album Without Fear, achieved multi-platinum status with hit top 10 single ‘Outnumbered’ as well as the top 20 with singles ‘Power Over Me’ and recent hit ‘Giants’.
The Dublin singer-songwriter has accumulated an immense 1.5 billion streams globally across all platforms.
His noteworthy live shows are now a worldwide phenomenon, selling out arenas and headlining major festivals around the world.
In July of 2020, Kennedy hosted ‘Some Summer Night’ at The Natural History Museum in London - one of the biggest selling live streamed shows ever, with over 30,000 tickets purchased. Fellow Irishman and Normal People star Paul Mescal was his special guest on the evening.
2021 sees Dermot set to perform his biggest sold out shows to date, including two nights at London’s Alexandra Palace, seven huge outdoor concerts across Ireland and a night at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado, USA.
Tickets (€49.90) for his extra St Anne's Park gig in Dublin on June 12th will go on sale this Friday, December 11 at 9am from Ticketmaster.
