'Giants' and Without Fear once again top the Official Irish Singles Chart and Official Irish Albums Chart respectively this week.
Dermot Kennedy has made history on the Official Irish Charts today – becoming the first Irish act in modern chart history to spend three consecutive weeks at No.1 on both the Official Irish Singles and Albums Charts.
Since verifiable chart archives began back in 1997, the only other Irish acts to claim a No.1 single and album at the same time are Westlife, U2, Boyzone and The Script. Both Westlife and The Script managed two successive weeks at the top both charts – but Dermot outdoes the lot today, with three weeks at No.1.
This week also saw Kennedy's acclaimed 2019 album, Without Fear, scoring its biggest week of sales since last December.
