It's part of an Australian covers album to raise money for bushfire relief efforts.
Dermot Kennedy has released a cover of Matt Corby's 'Resolution' as part of the Songs for Australia charity album organised by Julia Stone.
The song, recorded in a hotel room in New Orleans, showcases Kennedy baring his soul once again. It's a chill-inducing, intimate cover that fits his style perfectly.
Songs for Australia also features the likes of the National, Kurt Vile and Damien Rice covering songs by Australian artists. It's part of a massive movement of celebrities raising money for or donating to Australian charities after the continent was ravaged by some of the worst bushfires in memory, beginning last July. An estimated one billion animals have been killed in the fires.
