"I wrote it on the first day I got to Nashville last summer. I hadn’t written a song in a while, so it felt like I captured something I had been trying to say for a long time. I hope you love this one."
Kennedy's single release comes ahead of the MISNEACH festival, which has been curated by Kennedy himself. MISNEACH is set to take place in Sydney on March 16, and in Boston on March 18 and 19.
Performers in the Sydney festival leg include The Frames, Matt Corby, Kneecap, Meg Mac, Amble, Sorcha Richardson, The Scratch, Susan O'Neill, Fynch, and Cliffords.
The Boston leg will feature The Swell Season, Ye Vagabonds, Nell Mescal, Mick Flannery, Sorcha Richardson, and Florence Road, among others.
Kennedy will perform in both cities.
