Dermot Kennedy shares new single 'Lost'

Ahead of a sold-out UK & Ireland tour, Dermot Kennedy has releases yet another brilliant new single.

‘Lost’ comes in the wake of an outpouring of critical acclaim following the release of his 12 song compilation Dermot Kennedy and his previous single 'For Island Fires and Family'. Dermot dropped the video ‘For Island Fires and Family’ at the start of January and, with new single ‘Lost’ continuing on his incredible run of good music, he's now building up to his sold out four night residency in Dublin’s Olympia Theatre in May.

‘Lost’ taps into the raw talent and deft touch Dermot possesses of pulling at the listeners heart strings whilst always sounding genuine and sincere. Of the track, Dermot says “Lost is a song I wrote about resilience and reliance. Bad things can happen and when they do, when you’re tested, you’re going to need the love and the shelter of certain people to hold you up and guide you through whatever storm you find yourself in. It’s about holding each other up through bad times.”

After a recent sold-out run of shows in Australia, Dermot headed to the US for his debut TV performance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, wowing crowds with a performance of his recent single ‘Power Over Me’. He’ll also be headlining a run of dates across Canada and America this April culminating with an appearance at Coachella Festival and a massive show at the Filmore Auditorium in Denver, Colorado.
