This Is Tomorrow will take place at Newcastle Exhibition Park from 17th-19th September.
Three-day Newcastle festival This Is Tomorrow has confirmed its 2021 line-up, featuring Irish talent Dermot Kennedy, Fontaines D.C. and Inhaler alongside headliners Sam Fender and Gerry Cinnamon.
With 2020's edition cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic, the festival will return to Newcastle’s Exhibition Park on September 17th. This is Tomorrow made its debut in 2018 and is billed as region's biggest outdoor music event.
'Outnumbered' and 'Giants' star Dermot Kennedy will headline on September 17th, with his debut album Without Fear still No. 1 in Ireland.
Glasgow's Gerry Cinnamon, who followed up his debut album Erratic Cinematic with The Bonny and shot to No. 1 last year, will follow suit on September 18.
Brit Award winner Sam Fender will close the festival on September 19. Hometown headliner Sam Fender is yet to follow up on his acclaimed, UK chart-topping debut album Hypersonic Missiles (2019), though his return to the stage this summer suggests new music is on the horizon.

This Is Tomorrow will be hosted by UK promoters Kilimanjaro Live – with Kennedy replacing Royal Blood.
This Is Tomorrow is no longer promoted by SSD Concerts after allegations of employee mistreatment were made against the North East-based company earlier this year.
Also playing are Blossoms, Bugzy Malone, Mahalia, The Kooks, Pale Waves, Circa Waves, Sea Girls, Holly Humberstone, Billy Nomates, Nadine Shah and loads more.
“The pandemic has caused huge challenges for the live industry in 2020 and 2021 and when the opportunity came up for us to get involved with This Is Tomorrow it was a complete no brainer and a very easy decision for us to make,” said Kilimanjaro Live’s CEO, Stuart Galbraith.
“It’s a brilliant festival with huge potential in an area which has been traditionally over-looked as a music market. We’re delighted to be able to get this back in the diary.
