Internationally acclaimed Irish trad group Dervish will head to Belfast after a performance at Portlaoise Tradfest.
Dervish have announced a show at Belfast's Ulster Hall on July 27.
The traditional Irish five-piece will perform as part of Belfast Tradfest, Northern Ireland's leading traditional music and dance festival held from July 27 to August 3.
Other musicians will join Dervish on the festival's opening night, including trad-jazz experimental ensemble NOTIFY, the Irish Concertina Orchestra, pianist Cormac McCarthy and MGCE Concert Orchestra.
The concert at Ulster Hall will follow Dervish's May 2 gig as part of the Portlaoise Trad Festival.

Dervish was founded in 1989 in Sligo, with current members vocalist Cathy Jordan, Shane Mitchell on accordion, flautist Liam Kelly, Tom Morrow on fiddle, Brian McDonagh on mandolin and guitarist Seán Óg Graham.
With 13 studio albums, the group have brought traditional Irish music to international audiences, selling out venues across the world. In 2004 they were awarded the Freedom of Sligo City and more recently received the BBC Lifetime Achievement Award in 2019.
