Dido is back with a new tour and new album both coming in 2019.
Dido is set to play the Olympia Theatre in May 2019 as part of her world tour. This is the singer's first tour in fifteen years and she's making it a big one with 27 dates, commencing in Prague. Tickets go on sale Friday 16 November available from Ticketmaster, starting at €55.65.
Expect all of the megahits like 'Thank You', 'Here With Me', and 'White Flag', as well as material from her new album, Still On My Mind. Dido's forthcoming album will be released on the 8 March 2019, giving you plenty of time to listen to her new music ahead of the gig on 27 May.
Still On My Mind is Dido's fifth studio album and is her first album to be released in five years. The London-based singer released the album Girl Who Got Away in 2013. With sales of more than 40 million albums worldwide, Dido is considered one of the best-selling UK artists to date. Great things are expected from her upcoming release.
Dido describes the making of her new album as “an absolutely magical experience”. She says, “I wanted to capture the feeling I still get from listening to music, just that rush like you don’t need anything more than this”.

The album was written and recorded, most of which on her sitting room in her home in England. Together with her long term collaborator and brother, Rollo, they created the new album. "It was simple, I only wanted to made another album if it was with him," Dido adds. "It was made in such an easy way, all the vocals recorded on the sofa, a lot of it recorded at home."
Dido will take her tour to North America following her European tour, dates as follow.
