Still on My Mind will be the English singer-songwriter’s first album in five years.
Back in November, Dido announced that she would be making her long-awaited return to music with a new album, Still On My Mind. Set to be released by BMG on March 8, the project will be the singer's first studio album since The Girl Who Got Away, which was released back in 2013.
Dido has now shared 'Give You Up', an uplifting breakup ballad premiered by Zoe Ball on BBC Radio 2.
'Hurricances', the teaser single from Still On My Mind, generated plenty of hype for the new album when it was dropped in November. Sharing the news on Twitter, the singer also announced that she would be "going on tour for the first time in 15 years!" After a busy string of dates across Europe, she will hit Irish shores on May 27, playing Dublin's Olympia Theatre.
Still On My Mind will see Dido working her brother, Rollo, a producer and multi-instrumentalist with BMG. Speaking to BBC Radio 2, she claimed that the upcoming album incorporates hip hop, electronic, and folk sounds.
The English singer-songwriter's debut album, No Angel, brought her to the attention of the world in 1999. Since then, Dido has collaborated with Eminem and Kendrick Lamar, earned several major music awards, and sold over 40 million albums around the world.
