Like all pop sexpots who’ve hit their 19-plus dotage, Christina has gravitated toward hip-hop. Surprisingly, she does it quite well. Aided by appropriately filthy production – all distorted beats and resonant analog leads – she delivers some impressive lungwork. Shame about the godawful Whitneyesque flipside, ‘I Will Be.’
