Fans anticipate that Doja Cat will release a new album sometime later this year.
Grammy Award winning singer Doja Cat has just released her spin on SZA's acclaimed track 'Kill Bill,' which was released at the end of last year.
This is not the first time the two American singers have paired up, working together on 2021's 'Kiss Me More,' the 14th track off of Doja Cat's third studio album, Planet Her. The song won that year's Grammy Award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
'Kill Bill,' the remix, begins with a new verse from Doja Cat, who raps: "I'm in a funk, so I bought a bouquet of roses/ And cut 'em up at your doorstep, your new neighbourhood is gorgeous/ I paid a lot of money for the fragrances you wore when we were dating."
After the verse, the two join together for the chorus, before SZA launches into the song's regular second verse.

'Kill Bill' appears on SZA's highly acclaimed sophomore record SOS, which spent ten non-consecutive weeks topping the Billboard 100. 'Kill Bill,' itself, was the singer's first track to top the Billboard Global 200, doing so in January 2023 with around 64 million international streams.
Lyrically, the song features themes of revenge and heartbreak, heavily influenced by the Uma Thurman films which bear the same title. The accompanying video recreates several scenes and plot points from the Kill Bill duology, including a highly dynamic silhouetted fight scene in which the singer wields a katana.
Doja Cat’s most recent works include a 2021 collaboration with Saweetie on 'Best Friend' and a collaboration with Ariana Grande on her “34+35” remix, alongside Megan Thee Stallion. The singer also contributed track 'Vegas' to Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis biopic.
