The reigning queen of country music will perform onstage for the first time in 18 years at 61st Annual Grammy Awards.
The Recording Academy has revealed that a special tribute to Dolly Parton will take place at the upcoming Grammy Awards ceremony, on February 10. Kacey Musgraves, Katy Perry, Maren Morris, and Little Big Town will all pay tribute to Parton on the night by performing a selection of her hits. It has also been revealed that the 73-year-old country music star, who has been crowned the 2019 MusiCares Person of the Year, will take to the stage for the first time in 18 years, performing new music from the Dumplin' soundtrack.
Dumplin', released on Netflix in 2018, featured several of Dolly Parton's songs in its soundtrack, including six tracks written specifically for the film.
Country singer Maren Morris, who has been nominated for Grammy Awards across several categories, took to Twitter today to share her excitement over the news.
